Key Rehab Recognizes Golden Key Employee of the Year
Jan Irwin, President/CEO, recently named Melanie W, RPT, as Key Rehab’s Golden Key Employee of the Year.
Originally from Topeka KS, Melanie attended Kansas State University for her undergraduate courses, and then graduated from Des Moines University with her Physical Therapy degree.
After graduation, she worked in an outpatient hospital setting in Iowa and then began covering the hospital’s nursing home contracts. This led her to Key Rehab. Melanie began working for Key Rehab when her kids were in school. As a mother of young children, she welcomed the flexibility and variety of working in skilled nursing.
Melanie has 2 sons – Noah, age 12 and Brody, age 9. They are both active in sports and music. She recently married her husband, Aaron, in Key West FL. In her spare time, Melanie likes to read, spend time with her family, shop, and travel.
When asked what she liked most about working for Key, Melanie replied “I have autonomy, flexibility, a wonderful support staff, and fulfillment, knowing that I am making a difference in people’s lives every day. Key Rehab is truly a blessing in my life.” Congratulations to Melanie for a job well done!!
