GOLDEN KEY AWARD PROGRAM WINNERS ANNOUNCED FOR 2007 - 2008

Jan Irwin, President, recently named Kathleen Malarkey, COTA, (some know her as Katie) as Key Rehab's Golden Key Employee of the Year. Kathleen will celebrate her fourth anniversary with Key in December 2008. She graduated from Sanford Brown in Kansas City, MO in 1999, and then went on to work in Restorative Programs before joining the Key team. Kathleen is the Program Coordinator at our Medicalodge of Kansas City program. Kathleen was selected for this award because she exhibits an outstanding work ethic, dedication to excellence, reliability and is an overall exceptional employee. She would like to thank Jodi Foster (who also nominated her for this award), Mecah Downing, Tonya Bolte, April Freiner and Carey Craft for their continued support. She was honored at a surprise reception held on August 25, 2008 with Key staff and facility staff. Kathleen is originally from Brooklyn, NY. She has three children - Christopher, 29, who recently obtained his PhD, is getting married in October and resides in Denver; Adam, 28, who works for Boy Scouts of America and resides in Phoenix; and Kelly, 25, who got married in July and resides in Des Moines, where she is a teacher and assistant coach.
